SIPALKI-DO is the ancient 56 specialties grouped in the legendary 18 unit techniques from were several Martial Arts come from, dating back over 4300 yrs coming from the beginning of the open hand and meditation styles from the Buddhist Monks Shaolin Temples and followed by the old dynasty of the Grand Master SOO NAM YOO (10th. Dan)   World Federation President.

It is a fast street self-defence system, characterised to be a dynamic Martial Art with a quick application but with controlled offensive using all body parts including: grabs, angles and old forms of movement, pressure points, punches, kicks, weapons and a great fitness training in a traditional philosophy respectfully environment.

Grand Master SOO NAM YOO

The Grand Master SOO NAM YOO is the president of the SIPALKI-DO World Federation. Soo Nam Yoo's family dynasty named ION BI RYU holds the secrets since thousands of years ago of the ancient Sipalki-do that were derived from very old forms of Martial Arts with the feet, hands, head and also with weapons. Also Soo Nam Yoo is a Professor of Science Arts and Techniques of the Oriental Medicine; also he is investigating in Dactilo Puntura (finger acupuncture) with his knowledge including Acropuntura (acupuncture) and herb and body energy treatments

This old dynasty will continue with Master DAE WON YOO ( 7th.DAN), ION BI RYU President and the Grand Master's son. Proof of this Martial Art dating back thousands of years can be found in Korean government records as well as archaeological Korean history.

New Zealand Sipalki-do School

Prof. Mauricio Suarez having opened his main school in New Zealand on the 7th of December 2002 introduced Sipalki-do Ion Bi Ryu into Oceania Australasia continent by authorisation of the Grand Master Soo Nam Yoo 10th. dan World Federation President.

The New Zealand Sipalki-do school still growing actually having many students with different ranks. On 2009 the Instructor Ricardo Cazalas was ordered black belt 1^st. dan, 

Also on 2010 Instructor Michael Gardiner was ordered black belt 1^st. dan by authorisation of the Grand Master Soo Nam Yoo.    

Professor MAURICIO SUAREZ has a:

_NZQA Graduate diploma of teaching, specializing degree in the teaching of physical education and post graduate Recreational.
_Navy Officer retired Naval University professor, head of PE Department, recruitment officer and trainer, Physical Education and self defence teacher of the Naval students and marines forces for 10 years.
_Also he was a Physical Education Teacher of Ministry of sport, secondary, primary schools and several clubs too.
_The SIPALKI world federation pioneer in representing Oceania black belt 3rd. dan, Mauricio was selected hereditary member of the ancient dynasty ION BI RYU by the grand master Soo Nam Yoo.
_Also he was a Full contact kick boxing and Karate black belt 2nd dan, and Tai-Chi instructor, having trained Martial Arts since the year 1981.

Australia Sipalki-do School

Mauricio’s first student Instructor John Garcia black belt 1st dan opened the first (associated to Oceania Representation) Sipalki-do school in Australia in the year 2005, John is a Sipalki-do student since 1996.

In 2009 he was invited to participate on a tournament to represent and shows Sipalki techniques in combact and exibition being the only one in the Country to do so he become National Champiom (gold medal) of the AKWF Victorian State Championships and open Kungfu in conjunction with the 11th. WTPA Wushu and Taijiguan Festival 2009.
